In saddle stitching, pages are held together through the center fold by wire staples.

In 2009 an older model saddle stitcher was replaced with a new Heidelberg six-pocket cover-feed saddle stitcher.  With two saddle binders, Pittsburgh Binding can handle more volume in a shorter time to give you an economical and high quality solution to your stitching needs. We also offer double digest capabilities, which allow us to bind two books simultaneously.

Pittsburgh Binding also offers loop stitching.  Loop stitching makes it easier to get bound printed products into ring binders instead of drilling. It also allows for a smaller margin near the spine, because you are not drilling through the pages.
