Tinning, or Calendar Tinning, is a binding procedure that utilizes a thin metal strip which is crimped to the top of the work piece. Tinning is a functional and inexpensive method of binding to support and hang calendars, posters, and display signs. The most common use of this process is calendar tinning, and at Pittsburgh Binding we use our semi-automatic machines to do short or long runs that can tin a single sheet at the top, bottom, or both. We can also include a hanging hook.
